The best thing about the dentist is the happy gas...'nuff said.

Not a fan of happy gas. It makes me urpy.. Either give me a ton of shots or knock me out completely.

I'm a bigger fan of being knocked out. Close my eyes and when I open them again, it's time to go home.

Yup. Just go away for a little while, let them do what has to be done, then come back with some happy pills.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Never ever even been offered the "happy gas" :D I don't think it's as common in Europe, but I know there are some dentists that offer it to very anxious patients (with extreme dentist phobia).

Yeah, i don't think Aussie dentists use happy gas. The only place I've seen it is in a birthing room. Twice. That's enough for me :)

Around here, you have to ask for it and most will charge extra for it.

I have a severe gag reflex which starts when the dentist enters the room.

Totally true story...I have had dentists ask me to never come back. They do have better methods of sedation now though where you don't remember anything, which is better than the happy gas. Now I only get happy gas for cleanings.

Sounds like you suffer from dentaphobia, making you Jay the Dentaphobic (there’s worse things than that)
