Personally and TX family are fine. I have lost an aunt and last week my cousin to Covid. Auntie was 92 and had just had surgery before the virus hit. After surgery she got pneumonia but nursed he way back from that. They moved her to a nursing home where she for the Covid and couldn't overcome that. My cousin had cancer pretty bad and when the Covid hit, she has no more fight in her.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

My condolences mate.

Personally I stopped work before covid hit. I was getting a bit burned out. Then covid hit and decided I wasnt going to look for more IT work. I'm definitely not bored. We are financially secure, and especially with the better half enjoying her work with good career prospects, I have time to decide my next move.....

My dad lost a cousin to covid in Germany.

Australia has had 104 deaths and are controlling it quite well with most states close to have eliminated it. Except of course Victoria (where I am), which has had a second wave due to some inconsiderate factions in a couple of municipalities.

The area i'm in has no active cases of covid but that can change if the second wave is not brought under control.

He told me he is going to try and collect unemployment for as long as he can, then he might just retire.....

He would like to continue working, but the job he has (or had!) is a very easy job. Looking for work elsewhere he does not think the jobs would be as easy.

He thanks you for asking!!!

Do you think Charles could explain how we may be able to find an easy job like his (was)?

Do you know how to run a CMM machine? (Coordinate Measuring Machine (external link))

I do! Errr Charles knows how!!! You have to know how to read blue prints, AND know how to program the CMM to inspeqt parts to find if they are made to print within tolerances allowed.

So how "young" do you think I am????

I should say I watched most of the video AFTER I posted this. I have been running CMM's since 1989.... but WOW what the CMM's can do now is amazing! I would have to go back to training to learn how to run the new CMM's.....
