It is a happy Monday, or at least as happy as a Monday can be.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

It would be happier if I was retired. Now I'm just tired.

Same here but at least the cold has gone. Since moving own here I have become so intolerant of cold weather. I realize that my body needs the sun and warm. I guess I'm like a lizard warming in the sun.

I can't get my wife in front of the camera if her life depended on it. The few decent portraits I've taken of her have been at 400mm without her knowing.

Same here Harm. We have a nice outing somewhere and i have decent pics of kids and others, but not my wife. Then she complains that she is not in any of the pictures. I remind her that every time I would try, she would scurry away. ;)

As an example, here is a pic of my son and SO playing with a giraffe. We tried to get my wife in the shot but could not and this one was shot at 400mm. :) If she knows the camera is around, she lurks in the background as she is here.

Same problem here. The only half decent shots I have are candids when she wasn't aware I had a camera nearby.

In 75% or more of the photos of my wife, her eyes are closed. The best photos I have of her are candid too.

Tim, you reminded me of the saying "If a man speaks in the forest, and nobody is there to hear him, is he still wrong?"

JJ, explain to me this. If that is your wife standing behind your son's SO, how is it that she looks younger than your son. I'm confused.

Looking left or right. If looking left, she will love you. If looking right.. well...

Happy Monday, brothers and sisters.

Happy Monday?? It's Monday the 13th!

7:30 am saw me testing out the coefficient of friction between my workboots and ice. According to the results, it's rather low. And now I can feel every single joint in my spine.

Now, don't go getting me in trouble, but I was assuming the lady on the left of the photo, with the glasses and smile, as she is the only other one in focus.
