I've known more than a few of those, myself. My back goes out regularly, so I know I have a spine.

I definitely do have a spine and it has many nerves. I did take a tumble, right down on my side. Didn't think it was that bad at the time, but I am being informed that it was no small event. Work is not letting me rest it either, same old acrobatics and weight lifting to do here.

I think that fella you mentioned is in my office right now...

It's amazing at how many spineless jellyfish rise in the management ranks. I've known so many managers that were really horrible and always wondered how they got to their position as it clearly was not due to competence.
