But, he said...

We tried to get my wife in the shot but could not

I thought that meant she wasn't in the shot.

Happy Monday?? It's Monday the 13th!

7:30 am saw me testing out the coefficient of friction between my workboots and ice. According to the results, it's rather low. And now I can feel every single joint in my spine.

Well that's not good. Hope you didn't tumble.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Now, don't go getting me in trouble, but I was assuming the lady on the left of the photo, with the glasses and smile, as she is the only other one in focus.

that is what i thought too, Jim...

:):) Yup, hiding in the background. :) I even told my son to try and coax her forward but she is sly and familiar with that trick. ;)

At least Mel knows she has a spine. I use to work for someone who would not have had the same problem as he was a spineless a$$h@le.

I've known more than a few of those, myself. My back goes out regularly, so I know I have a spine.

Who does it go out with and what does it do? Does it go out drinking with the boyz or maybe it goes out with the spine from that hot blond ex-dancer.

I know that spineless guy too.

I definitely do have a spine and it has many nerves. I did take a tumble, right down on my side. Didn't think it was that bad at the time, but I am being informed that it was no small event. Work is not letting me rest it either, same old acrobatics and weight lifting to do here.

It's amazing at how many spineless jellyfish rise in the management ranks. I've known so many managers that were really horrible and always wondered how they got to their position as it clearly was not due to competence.
