I used to spin the plates at a large dance club. Top 5 most requested songs....

5. Dancing Queen - ABBA
4. Night Fever - BeeGees
3. Last Dance - Donna Summer
2. Billie Jean - Michael Jackson

And the number 1 most requested song........

Break out the earplugs!

Hey.. They didn't do the YMCA hand gestures a single time.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I was in Jr. High school during the disco era. Back then I had a math teacher who thought he was the next John Travolta. He once stated he'd give any student extra credit if we'd let him teach us how to disco dance.

I decided I didn't need the extra credit. He was so freakin' creepy...

But, I do love me some BeeGees music!

I missed the disco era completely.

I enjoy it in controlled amounts, same as with most other types of music.

Some of the music is okay in small doses. If I never hear YMCA again, it will be too soon.

I believe Rick Rolling has been banned. I got my hand slapped a while back for rick rolling in jest. It still stings.

Yeah thanks, the week just turned awful real early. :)

Just never could get into disco. The same goes for the more modern dance music. Anything where the music is generated from a beat box just doesn't sit good with me. I needs me some good instruments accompanying the vocals. ;)
