There's a lot of good techno out there. It's great music to exercise to.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Yes, I agree. Very good high tempo, or a decent paced beat...

Glad you all like it, someone has to. ;)

Good thing for all the different genres of music, we can all find something we like, and nobody is going to like it all.

THere's very little I can't stand listening to. Maybe certain songs but not an entire genre. Probably the two I have most issues with are rap, some songs are good but lots of it I really can't stand and country, again, lots of good stuff but in small doses. Classical too I suppose. It's nice to listen to but not all day long or even an hour.

I used to spin the plates at a large dance club. Top 5 most requested songs....

5. Dancing Queen - ABBA
4. Night Fever - BeeGees
3. Last Dance - Donna Summer
2. Billie Jean - Michael Jackson

And the number 1 most requested song........

Break out the earplugs!

I was in Jr. High school during the disco era. Back then I had a math teacher who thought he was the next John Travolta. He once stated he'd give any student extra credit if we'd let him teach us how to disco dance.

I decided I didn't need the extra credit. He was so freakin' creepy...

But, I do love me some BeeGees music!

I was between wives one and two during the height of the disco era. I spent a bit of time in places like that...

Country and classic rock I can listen to for hours on end. Classical, hard rock, pop, rap, etc all have their time limits. And that will fluctuate with my mood.

This is pretty much me also. My general genres are pop-ish and techno.

Miss Kittin, Lords of Acid, Studio Killers, Avicii, Lorde, David Guetta, Serj Tankien etc

Occasionally I toss in some Marilyn Manson, Slip Knot, or Devil Driver

I too can take small doses of the right kind of almost any genre myself, but rock (classic and new) and blues are my main genres I listen too.

My all time favorite band for harder stuff is Led Zeppelin. Softer stuff is Fleetwood Mac. The only modern music I listen to anymore is in the the country genre.

Back in the day when I had a 12" reel-to-reel, I had a couple spools of classical that I really enjoyed.

I liked bagpipe music too. Of course, I was getting high a lot, which may explain that.
