Peachy.

Nice photos! I bet you had a great time! :D

Thanks!!! It was a very good time indeed. We got lucky on a 6am flight out of NYC before the snow fall began. After that flight they were all canceled.

Thanks mate. I was on antibiotics that day. Had been sick for two weeks with an upper respiratory infection and an ear infection. So i had to get off the bike. The climb is at mile 90 in the middle of the day. It was brutal with another 65 miles still remaining. At that point in the video i had been climbing for 1.9 miles. Had no clue the top was 200 yards away

I knew he'd been in pretty poor health for several years but I didn't know he died. I'm in a Facebook group about him, but I don't remember seeing any announcement there of his death. Sorry to hear it now. :(

I didn't realize he had passed until I read the article. I wonder what will happen now.

He hadn't been living at the mountain for a few years. There have been volunteers maintaining it as caretakers while he was moved to a long term care facility in San Diego because of his deteriorating health. I'd imagine the mountain will still be cared for by volunteers, at least for a while.

Amazing how fast people come up with money for their finished repairs once they get served with papers for a lien on their car. I try to be nice and understanding but 4 months of excuses from two different people... lol I am done being nice.

I wouldn't have someone work on my car if I didn't already have the money readily available.

Hey Omar....What's up with another brand swap on the bikes? New sponsor for 2014?

Thanks for the post, Dan. I knew he was in bad health, but wasn't aware he'd passed away. I'm glad I got a couple of opportunities to photograph the mountain while he was still alive.
