A couple days ago we were 20F and 12 inches of snow. Yesterday it was sunny and 65F. All the snow is gone. I loved standing out in the sun yesterday without a coat.

I like it when it's chilly, but sitting in the sun, you can feel the warmth radiating through your skin.

Took this about a block from my house (and up the hill a little).

Mine's "clear," but gets a lot of bebris in it; dead leaves from nearby plants, and two friggin mesquite trees, mainly.

I covered mine with a leaf cover. Let's the rain through but not the leaves.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Amazing how fast people come up with money for their finished repairs once they get served with papers for a lien on their car. I try to be nice and understanding but 4 months of excuses from two different people... lol I am done being nice.

4 months is a long time to not pay up.

We have a 'bad credit/no credit' sales division. Lower end vehicles and they work out the financing. But if you default on the payments the car gets repo'd. Most people keep up with the payments, but often enough we see the vehicle back on our lot. There was one car that they sold at least three times.

This is one of the main roads to my neighborhood. This is the best section as far as snow removal. Tonight, the road is impassible....it is a solid sheet of ice.

And that is what I hate about the freeze/thaw type of weather that we normally have. All the snow is soggy and there's puddles all over, then it freezes and everything is icy and frozen in lumps. This winter has been great! Record breaking cold temperatures and record breaking snowfalls. Today was only the second "thaw" of the season, so far. The temps stayed below freezing, but the bright sun was warming the pavement just enough to melt the layer of snow on it. The morning is going to be slippery.

I was walking from the train station back home...

on the footpath. a UPS truck sprayed myself and another pedestrian with wet, slushy, salted, grittey snow from the road....

then an SUV did the same...

Did either stop? **** no they didn't. I complained hardcore to UPS... They were not pleased with their driver. I was ****ing livid with their driver.

Slush and mush were the words of the day here. There was crap being splattered all over. Not a good time to be anywhere near a roadway. I would be pissed too.
