That confuses them for a few moments, then they invariably say it again. "No, I mean she DID put money on my books, right? But I.." Then I repeat, "I don't know." Sometimes it takes them three or four times before they don't use "right?"

Take that "right" out and insert "eh" and you've got instant Canadian! Within certain parameters at least. Can't be throwing the eh's around without just cause.
