When you gorilla-glue the stuff together it makes for a functional piece of furniture. We have exceptions. Our dining room set came from a furniture factory back in Illinois and we have a kitchen table and chairs that was custom build for us by a local furniture maker. Solid cherry wood and his price was very reasonable a bit more than store bought but the quality is well worth it. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

We got our kids dressers there and they are still in use years after they left. Our family room couch is from Ikea as well. It was really cheap and has replaceable covers so when it starts looking shabby, strip off the cover and toss it into the wash. They also sell replacement covers so you can change the color quite easily. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
