Headache is gone, have a new ouchie to deal with.

You really need to be mic'd whilst working, the entertainment value for the waiting room customers would really step up business. Probably have to put a PG-13 rating at minimum on a sign somewhere.

Doing fine Tim. You? I'm up early every morning it seems.

Since I retired, I've been staying up later and "sleeping in" (to 6:30am or so) more.

6:30am is NOT "sleeping in"! To qualify for that, there should be a "p" before the "m"... ;)

As for staying up late, I just noticed it's almost 7am. I guess I should be going to bed sometime soon...

As I work with so many from countries around the world I have become a intermittent sleeper. I get my 6~7 hours a day, just not all at once. I routinely go to bed after midnight, get up at 5am, but take a nap around noon or so for an hour and maybe again when I get home.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Got the finger wrapped in an ice pack right now, swelled up so much I couldn't move it at all.

Yep. Great way to start a vacation. (25 hours!) Thankfully it doesn't hurt too much while driving, and it's not my camera hand. I can work the lens with the rest of my fingers.

Oh, a friend of mine offered his 15mm fisheye lens to me for my trip. He never uses it so he won't miss it. I've borrowed it before, it's not all that fishy on a crop, but it should be nice for some wide angle shots of trains.

Ice pack again. This is making life difficult.

Contemplating going for x-rays. I know there's nothing to do for broken fingers, but it is a workplace injury. And the bruising and swelling are just getting worse.

if the swelling is still happening. go to the doctors and they can give you something to help with that. but other then that just got to let it does it thing. sucks i know, i've been there multiple times both with fingers and with toes.

or if you really don't want to go to the doctors. find an over the counter pain killer that has an anti-imflamatory in it. that should help with the swelling along with the ice packs.

I'm sure just working is aggravating it. Should have it iced and elevated and not be putting pressure against it by holding tools and what not.
