A Land Rover just showed up at the door. I hate Mondays.

Sounds like it.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Maybe it's because they are butt-ugly cars. ;):)

That would clearly be the Fiat Multipla. I had a coworker (back in the UK) who owned one...

ghastly and horrible

Had to look that one up and yes, it's pretty ugly.

That would ruin my Monday too.

If one showed up up at my door... with a bow and ribbon and my name on the gift tag... I'd be happy.

Don't like your work? Quit.

I used to love matchbox cars as a kid (back when they came in a little match box, early 60's) Their planes, too. Much better than Hot Wheels that came later.

And I don't like my work, so I AM quitting.

In two years.

I remember Matchbox cars, they were awesome. I much preferred them to Hot Wheels because they were more realistic. Hot Wheels were more fantasy cars and such. I never got any of the fancy accoutrements though. I had a case but all the other stuff was left to the imagination.

I was always good at entertaining myself as a kid; give me a Matchbox car or plane, and I was good for hours. Or a coloring book.

I loved coloring books. Every Saturday we would spend the morning at my grandma's house and she had a stack of them with the Crayola-64 pack. All we had at home was a 16-pack if lucky. Later my mom sprang for the bigger box with all the fancy colors.
