I set up a flickr account, simply because it was free and 1TB of space.

I love being woke up to someone smashing in to Audi and then running. *sigh*

Looks like it may be a drunk driver, several cars on the next street over have been hit.

Good morning all. Some images from this past weekend:

At the top of sparkhill mountain. North of bear mountain:

We also went to the tribeca film festival to see the world premier of "Slaying the badger" based on the book about the 1985 tour de france in which Greg LeMond face off against at the time 4 time tour winner Hinault...and they were on the same team. We got to spend some time with Greg again and even got the author/him to sign my copy of the book.

Thanks Traci. Really nice and quiet in that area. As close to a mountain pass as we can get in these parts :)

Looks like it may be a drunk driver, several cars on the next street over have been hit.

We had a rash of those on our street a couple of years ago, but the best one was the woman that hit the street sign right across from us. I was able to get a look at her and the vehicle before she drove off, so I called 911 to report the accident. I then went outside and, lo and behold, there was her license plate. I called the police back, got the same operator who, when I told her about the plate said "Oh goody." She sent a unit and I gave them the plate. I never found out what the outcome was, but I expect someone had some explaining to do.

I had the officer ask me this morning if I wanted to press charges. All I could say is I don't know, I've never had to do anything like this... He'll call back this evening. I ask a bunch of friends and ALL of them yelled YES!!! lmao

Two estimates;
first $10,480
second $11,650

So looks like I will be pressing charges for hit and run.
