??? The round circular things to the left are tires.

That's what I was thinking. I guess that was a joke;Texans have a strange sense of humor. (humour, for the Brits amongst us)

Or JJ may have made a lateral reversal error in reporting his location.

Meaning he's either in the blue shirt or the white shirt? White shirt's too skinny. Blue shirts too young (at least I picture JJ as older).

I'm guessing he's behind the camera. Green hat in the other shot?

yup. Second shot was at the beginning of a 36 mile ride. Couple of other from the ride.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

^ always nice to see a picture of people you communicate with on the internet. I always have a mental picture that may not be accurate.

Of course, that can lead to issues if you get interested in a hottie... but I don't see that happening in this case :D

I've dropped 50 pounds, does that help?

No, I'm still not interested. I don't like outside plumbing.

Or are you talking about the mental picture thing? You look kinda like me, except I still need to drop about 35 pounds if you dropped 50 pounds. Then we might be twins. Kinda, sorta.

The mystery remains.

Are you the one in the black V-neck, JJ?

That one's a woman. I think we can rule her out.

I'm the round circular thing just off to the left. That's before my weight loss. :)

Off to the left is a squarish red thing, which is the back of a van. There are no circular things near the left edge of the picture. So where's JJ?

I realize this, but I've never seen JJ disclose his/her gender. So who knows?

Indeed. You may have to take back that "outside plumbing" comment.

No. I use the two outside seat belts to keep the bikes vertical and bungee cords between them with a few carefully placed bath mat type rugs to keep them from rubbing in places that can scratch the paint.

The reason we went full size is that at the time we were looking the smaller vans cost about the same and they weren't dealing whereas the dealers were much more willing to deal on the larger ones. Without trade we got the van for 21k 10 years ago. Gas mileage isn't great, I think the Honda was getting something like 22mpg and our van can get 20mpg if you baby it. But the extra room was worth the few extra mpg. It's a pain to take out the beck seat because it's heave so we just keep it out all the time and cover the floor with a sheet of plywood because we haul so much stuff with it. But it still seats 4 comfortable with tons or leg room. All in all it's a comfortable and practical ride. Another positive, parts for the thing are really cheap when comparing it to some of the imports. Brake pads are about $35 for a set, roters are cheaper, all in all the maintenance has been very inexpensive. In the 10 years we have owned it the biggest repair is replacing the front end ball joints which we had a shop do. I think is was a $600 repair. Other than that, just normal routine maintenance.

Thanks JJ. I will def bring this up to Mayra as we continue to look around. Its also very low key looking. Which is a major plus.
