I don't see a piece of paper. I see a triangle of white background (the dog's fur, maybe) showing through just below his nose. Is that the shape you're talking about?

Went for late afternoon walk with the new lens. Planning a proper outing this weekend.

Not too bad for ISO 2500

So I went swimming again. I don't think I've ever been in the lake this late in the year, but I got paid to go in this time! I'm working part time for a friend that owns a property maintenance company. One of our contracts has a million dollar summer house on the lake that we take care of. He has a floating swimming platform down in the water. He had pulled it up onto the tiny bit of beach that's at the bottom on the cliff and chained it to the stairs, but a recent storm broke the chain and deposited the platform two properties down. So it had to come out for the winter. I got that job. My brother-in-law came with his boat, helped me drag it off the beach and swim it out to the boat, and then we towed it to the boat launch (1 km away) where I had a tow truck meet us. Loaded it up and deposited it in the guy's driveway.
The marine weather report has the lake temperature at 60F, and the air temp was 71F. Slightly chilly!

Lots of work today. So busy that I didn't have time to commute in. This is the first break I've had all day.

I have been out shooting, geocaching, and stuck helping a friend replace head gaskets on his 01 Dakota 4.7L.

Nuts. I've done a whole lot of nothing today. Little bit of laundry, little bit of dishes, re-seasoning my cast iron dutch oven, and knitting baby hats for the hospital.

Yesterday's activities have left me rather sore and creaky. After my 5 volleyball games another team asked me to fill in for a missing player, so I ended up playing another 5 games.

For 2 days? I've been the only one around here. What's the occasion? (Not that we need an actual occasion to party...)

My teenager today.

My sister and her boyfriend of 22 years got married today. This is the project that brought them together so long ago. They were commissioned to paint this golf cart shoe in 1992, and the rest was history. By luck the vehicle was still around and delivered today for the ceremony.

Nice color Dan. I do miss the color up north but I knows what comes after the color. ;)

Interesting story Chet but really? 22 year engagement? Love the shoe-cart though.
