Same here. 95 and the pool is open. A bit chilly though, only 80 degrees
We had a low of 30 and high of 67 today, we went from 95+ to 60's within a couple weeks. Today I started prepping our pool for the winter.

Can't really just lounge around as the water is cooling. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I don't recommend it. I had that happen to me. I got stung on the tongue. Evidently the little ctritter landed on a bagle I was eating and I ate the bee. Before crunching though, I got a few nice stings on the tongue. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I felt it in my mouth but thought it was a piece of chip. It stung my cheek just as I bit down on it. Melody

Chet showed up to keep the place interesting More info | Oct 03, 2014 09:15 | #6968 So. I'm processing photobooth pictures in LR 4.3 and the process has become unbearable. I have just about 400 pictures to tweak and I'm about 80% complete. But... Now each photo is taking significantly more time, upwards of 2 minutes to apply just a custom preset. So to even do 25 photo's is taking about 2 hours of time. How do I batch remove the presets from the already processed and exported pictures so that I'm only working on the current group?

I don't recommend it. I too have done similar. A bunch of years back I took a swill of beer, and thought who the hell put a cigarette butt in my beer, then it started vibrating I realized it was a wasp, and before I could spit it out, it stung my lip. Took an hour or so for the swelling to go down, then all was good. -JIM-

I've tried closing LR, optimizing it, restarting the computer, using CCleaner to clear memory and system cache, but the process is just taking longer each time. Any ideas? Can't help. I've pretty much moved away from LR completely. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Chet showed up to keep the place interesting More info | Oct 03, 2014 11:37 | #6972 I'm just wondering if using lots of brushes is the culprit? I find myself getting up and doing stuff whilst LR is processing. I also only shot Medium/Fine jpgs this time to make the files smaller for processing.

I am using a 2011 Macbook to process and it only slows down a bit when i am doing panoramic stitching. This is with the RAW files from a 36 MP camera. -Omar- Flickr
