Thanks kids. I was worried about my equipment pulling off anything worthwhile. I think I've outgrown my stuff, just can't justify replacing it. I do so much portrait photography, I really would like the 6D, or a 5dmkii. I use a 5d every so often, just can't stand the skin tones it produces.

As a side note, I only use Breakwind for posting online. I use my other name on real stuff. ;)

Hey Chet. I'm kind of at the same place as you...time to start thinking about some new bodies one of these days (don't we wish we could replace the human bodies occasionally?). How are ya?

Went shooting with Jon on Sunday...between the fog, the rain and the clouds that where at treetop level, we still managed to squeak out a few shots.

Wow! Hiya! Glad to see you stop by, if only for a spell. How are you? Me, well we have a wee one on the way and we are quite excited. There will be 7 years between each kid once the sapling sprouts in January. So much for retirement one day.

WOW, good for you guys!! Congrats! Doing well here, went off-grid a little more often, which hasn't allowed for a whole lot of free time, but I think as a rule we're quite a bit healthier. Kids are growing like dang weeds (right Dan?) but are doing well.

You need to put a brick on each of their heads to slow them down a bit.

G'mae everyone. Very quiet in here lately. What's up?

original forecast for the morning was blue skies... but when the fog disappeared, it was just generically cloudy. oh well!

Nice Harm. The second could use a bit more contrast and saturation. Looks a bit washed out.

It was foggy, JJ, hence the washed out look... the 2nd photo was in the valley under the clouds of the 1st photo...

I figured that and on the first pic, it adds to the ambiance but not so much on the second. I like the second one a lot but without the wider field as in the first, the fog effect gets lost.
