Hey, you're the one that chose to live at the North Pole...

Actually, we are just a bit south of the North Pole. ;)

Actually, we are MUCH closer to you than the North Pole, and you are closer to the Equator than we are to the North Pole. Santa be living WAAAAAY up north. lol

It's funny how quickly one gets acclimated to a new climate. I was like that when I lived in IL as well especially in the spring after a cold winter. Here however, the temps get to 60 and you start seeing winter coats and boots.

How true. We have a ton of immigrants from warm climates, and they are donning parkas while those of us born here are still in short sleeves.

I like to question those parka wearing folks on what they plan to do when winter actually arrives. These days I am switching between wearing shorts and t-shirts on the nice days, and pants and a hoodie on the cool days. Or some combination of both. Wearing a parka now does not leave a person with many options when the temp drops to 20 below before windchill. And the crazy fact is these people don't own anything more than a parka, hat, and gloves. Cold weather is not that bad if you actually dress for it. Legs cold? Put on a pair of snowpants.

That is a common overnight low in the middle of summer in Calgary. Makes for great sleeping. :)

What's up with the fictitious last page of this thread? Jon's post #7365 is at the bottom of p. 491 by my 15-per-page numbering. The blue bar below it says there's a 492. When I tap 492, I get 491 again.

I had the same thing, I suspect it was a spam post that was deleted on page 492.

I was referring the album, "Ghost in the Machine."

But I see it zipped right over y'all's heads.
