I had the same thing, I suspect it was a spam post that was deleted on page 492.

Thanks. Next time, I won't need to ask.

I was referring the album, "Ghost in the Machine."

But I see it zipped right over y'all's heads.

Ghost in the shell. Awesome!!

I concure. As a kid I hated pumpkin pie but now it's up there as one of my favorites. Maybe part of it was that my mom was not such a great cook, at least when it came to pies, but my wife makes an awesome pie.

Pumpkin pie can be truly awful if the baker has no skill. I've eaten some that have no taste, poor texture, and chewy crust. That's just nasty. I have never in my life used a store bought pie crust. I avoid using canned pie filling as much as possible (except when camping and making pie irons).

A co-worker once was bragging that her guy made a great pumpkin pie. His method: buy a crust, buy a can of pie filling, pour filling into crust, bake. That's not making a pie, that's assembling.

I like to question those parka wearing folks on what they plan to do when winter actually arrives. These days I am switching between wearing shorts and t-shirts on the nice days, and pants and a hoodie on the cool days. Or some combination of both. Wearing a parka now does not leave a person with many options when the temp drops to 20 below before windchill. And the crazy fact is these people don't own anything more than a parka, hat, and gloves. Cold weather is not that bad if you actually dress for it. Legs cold? Put on a pair of snowpants.

I used to hate pumpkin pie....until I discovered a new recipe. Facebook friends have seen it. I used a frozen crust and canned pumpkin the first time I made it, simply in the interest of time. I did grind my own spices.

This makes a great difference, the freshness and flavour of fresh ground just cannot be duplicated with buying ground spices. Not positive of the timeline, but spices bought already ground should be replaced something like once a year, or more often.

It does make quite a difference in flavor. But sometimes I wish my wife didn't spend so much at our local spice shop. I can't believe what some of these spices cost.

You have a great cook there, taking good care of you, and you are complaining?

I hear you though, my wife buys lots of fresh whole stuff too. My weakness is the cheeses at a local market. Oh so tasty, but quite pricey.
