You have a great cook there, taking good care of you, and you are complaining?

I hear you though, my wife buys lots of fresh whole stuff too. My weakness is the cheeses at a local market. Oh so tasty, but quite pricey.

I don't complain when I'm enjoying her meals.

I know what you mean about cheese, the good thing is that she loves cheese even more than I do, so I am always getting tastes of the latest cheese sample that she's picked up.

Some supermarkets even have a pharmacy in back, where you can conveniently pick up your statins refill!

LOL... I had to look up Statin. I just had my cholesterol checked, and it is actually quite good.

I do love those items, but my wife feeds me well balanced meals too. ;)

It snowed today.

Just east of us had some accumulation, ours just melted, but winter is close! And to celebrate the coming of winter, I went to a hockey game today. The World Under 17 Hockey Challenge is here in town. My SIL got free tickets from work but didn't want to go, so she gave them to me. Jeff had the afternoon off so he went with me. While we were at the game she sent me a message, she got another pair of tickets for tomorrow nights gold medal game. So Jeff and I are going to that one too. It's pretty good hockey to watch.

Their talking snow in Dallas next week. That's just plain crazy. It was 70 today and sunny but I guess a new polar vortex is headed this way.

I thought I left all this cold behind but it seems to be following me.

Got up to about 80 today. I spent more than seven hours at an air show, and it felt hotter.

Speaking of which, I kinda overdid it with the pictures; Carried two bodies, and took 836 shots with one, 208 with the other. I've got some work to to do.

Also, using the Tamron 150-600, I sure could have used a monopod. Guess what was waiting for me when I got home? The guy in brown shorts brought a package from B&H, which included, among other things, a Giottos monopod and a head. Oh well.

Looked Mexican. Probably a drug thing.

Actually, this weather is perfect for working outside. 60s~70s during the bulk of the day maybe spiking to 80 around sunset and very dry. You can work outside for a long time and not feel all sweaty.
