Looks like we are totally skipping fall and heading right into winter. THe polar vortex blasted over us and it seems it's going to say around for the next 2 weeks. We went from 80+ to 30- overnight. The trees are still green and the leaves haven't started falling. Now they are frozen. I suspect that they will just drop green.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Got some really nice ones there. The mountains mane a real nice backdrop. Gives them a sense of speed.

Those are all just lovely shots! I didn't know you had that in you.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the shooting conditions weren't the best; the sun was in front of me most of the day, and then various planes using smoke for their entire routines made it very hazy at times, with no breeze to blow it out
I missed a lot of good shots of WWII aircraft because of that. Shooting RAW and using Lightroom saved some.

We are still below freezing. We might hit the high 30s by afternoon and then back into the freezer.

It's currently 37°F outside. I'm still wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The receptionist thought I was nuts when I walked into work and she's all winter attired up clutching her coffee cup. I don't give in that easily....

Wisconsin is warmer than Texas? That's just not right.

I saw that massive cold dip in the USA Today, today. This is just some whack climate change weather we are experiencing.

Yeah, it will take us at least another week to ship all our cold air down to you in the deep south. :)

We're sitting right at freezing. The next several days are supposed to just wander slightly above and below 0C. Cold weather is sitting just on the other side of the Great Lakes. The bubble is holding.

Big decision to be made is do I wear pants over my shorts when I go to volleyball tonight?
