Ok, not that cold, but pretty darn cold none the less. We had snow last night. Sort of strange to see snow yet all the trees are still green. Color just starting.

We have about two inches of wet snow now. Not really cold though as it's only -1C.

I haven't even closed down the pool yet. It's suppose to get back to 60s~70s next week. I'll do it then I suppose.

Mel, maybe you can answer this. I have 20" wheels on my CX-9 with the best all season tires I could buy. The traction is non existent in snow, the abs and awd and traction control seem useless. I look it up and it's a common complaint with CX-9 owners. They recommend getting 18" wheels with Blizzak tires for winter use.

Why would they recommend a smaller 18" wheel? Blizzak's are available for 20" rims, but the smaller 18" is recommended by users.

5C here this morning with a predicted high of 21C. Other than some rain showers for a couple of days, that pretty much the story here for the next 6 days.

It seems that cold front we had sent down to you made it. Good to see. :) Your forecast seems to be the same as ours is, and we are a couple miles or so to the north.

They're probably buying steel winter rims. Bigger rims mean bigger price, especially when you make the jump from 18" to 20". There shouldn't be any difference in handling between the two sizes. The extra bit of sidewall size shouldn't be noticeable in feel.

Could be it. TireRack.com doesn't even offer a steel rim option. I'm actually having a hard time finding a 18" Steel rim for it.

Check for a 16" setup.

Been open 2 hours and we've had 17 cars towed in for dead batteries this morning. Every single one of them had a battery that was 5+ years old. Get your battery checked people.
