I've been wondering if everyone had gotten lost.

Wasn't that a TV series, constantly lost?

Just got home from the gym and a quick lunch. Time to put up the tree and decorate the house. Not my favorite things to do. And the tree weighs a ton.

We got a nice 8-9 ft tree. Put it up last night. Decorate it later tonight. Love that fresh pine smell

I have a 2ft artificial with one of those pine tree air fresheners attached. Same thing really.

We bought a really nice artificial tree and then get some scrap branches from the tree lots for the smell.

Yep. We've usually had fake trees, but this is the second year in a row with a real one. Worth the trouble, and not taking up closet space with that big-ass box.

That's pretty much what we do. We have a 9' artificial tree and then we buy wreaths for the fresh pine smell.

When the kids were younger we would go out to the national forest, get a permit and cut down a tree. It was good fun.

I knew a family who drive out to the middle of no where to get a tree. It was quite an adventure as well. They got out in the woods and the daughter was pretty much frozen and the guy forgot the saw. They did find a wonderful perfect tree that they yanked out including the root ball and tethered it to the station wagon for the rife home. It wound up being a bit large for their home and broke out a window when he cut the rope wrapped around it. It was also very fresh and got sap all over the guy to the point he couldn't even read a magazine.

I felt bad though cause the guys cousin came into town unannounced and brought the family including the dog. Dog drank the tree water which dried out the tree in short order. Crazy old uncle comes for dinner and starts the tree on fire and part of himself. The guy winds up having to replace the tree with one in his yard.

Wonder what ever happened to him?
