It doesn't happen all the time, just often enough that I've wondered about it. It very well could be a problem on my end, I just haven't had any trouble with anything else, just the purple bar. I have a stucco house... even the eaves are stucco... so I haven't been stringing Christmas lights. Well, we have lots of family coming this year, and my wife really wanted exterior lights up for Christmas. Who knew you could use a hot-glue gun for brick and stucco? I put 'em up yesterday; works like a charm ![]() Does it come off the brick? This sounds interesting. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I only have stucco, but imagine it would work about the same. I tested it in a couple of spots before I hung the strings; with a little yank it comes off the stucco but stays on the bulb housing, which is what I was hoping for. Moose

More info | Dec 11, 2014 16:56 | #7887 Just spent an hour reading all the crap from the forum bashers, I discovered there are a whole lot of petty whiners hanging out on POTN. I think a lot of the whining stems from the fact that they feel they were more capable of beta testing than the folks that were selected. Sure, this takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it is so much easier, cleaner and customizable. People that know me call me Dan
