I've surfed the site, tried doing everything I normally would do with Firefox and I can't get it to screw up. The notification bar seems to work just fine. Win7 64.

I'm using Chrome on Win 7 64

It doesn't do it all the time, but it's been regular enough. At first I thought it may have just been start-up bugs, or my internet connection, but it is still there. If I remember, next time it happens, I'll try for a video of it or something. I don't have another computer to use, just my iPhone.

I use both Chrome and FF and have been watching but have not seen anything yet.

I'm unsure of the issue with the purple bar. Mine seems to be working okay. Chrome, Windows 7 64.

I haven't had a problem with it in the last 8 hours. It doesn't happen all the time, just often enough that I've wondered about it. It very well could be a problem on my end, I just haven't had any trouble with anything else, just the purple bar.

The cool things you learn on the web.

I have a stucco house... even the eaves are stucco... so I haven't been stringing Christmas lights. Well, we have lots of family coming this year, and my wife really wanted exterior lights up for Christmas. Who knew you could use a hot-glue gun for brick and stucco? I put 'em up yesterday; works like a charm :-)

Does it come off the brick? This sounds interesting.

I only have stucco, but imagine it would work about the same. I tested it in a couple of spots before I hung the strings; with a little yank it comes off the stucco but stays on the bulb housing, which is what I was hoping for.

Entryway cabinet I just finished building for my wifey. So we can throw away the crappy $20 particle board shelf. Christmas gift.

Just spent an hour reading all the crap from the forum bashers, I discovered there are a whole lot of petty whiners hanging out on POTN. I think a lot of the whining stems from the fact that they feel they were more capable of beta testing than the folks that were selected. Sure, this takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it is so much easier, cleaner and customizable.

Agreed. Makes me wonder how they respond to new things out in the world.

I guess some people were just born to complain. The seem to have no concept of the work and dedication that Pekka put in to making this a success. Are there things that could be changed or improved? Sure, there are. Show me a product that is perfect!
