Started putting together project #3 tonight. Should have been the easiest; a Huffy 20" wheel Green Machine. But nooooo. I get everything unboxed, unwrapped and partially assembled, only to find it's missing a major part of the rear axle. So, I get to try'n rebox everything so we can take it back and replace it. What a friggin' pain. vmad

I keep wanting to get my kid a green machine. I loved those in the 70's!

They've gotten a little more high-tech since then.

I want a new computer.

My laptop is over 6 years old now, it's working quite well, but I get some occasional signs of old age. A few years ago I upped it to 4 gigs of ram and went to Win 7 64. I was in college at the time and was able to buy CS5 at student pricing.

During back to school sales season I went pricing new computers. Most of the desktops only had 6gbs of ram, and the laptops had 4gbs. And the prices were insane. If I'm going to upgrade, I want a decent upgrade.

Looks like a fantastic build, did you do it yourself? Does your MoBo have fast start technology on it? I'm not sure if that's on everything now or not? My computer boots or reboots in about 15 seconds with the combination of the MoBo tech and a SSD. It's blazing fast and it's only an i5. I imagine your i7 is even better. I need to upgrade some of the components still but I'm pretty happy with the build.

Sounds nice. My computer is showing signs of age too, but I can't afford to get a new one right now. My truck needs some work and that's priority.
