Holy wow! Is that their top-tier service?

For the amount I pay, I hope so! :-D

Nice speeds, Chris!! Even though we have verizon fios, we are on the slow side, reflected in what we pay anyhow...

If i ditch the tv, i'll up the internet speed. All i really need is NBC to watch the footy. hopefully they will follow with HBO and CBS or ABC? with online subscriptions...

no, not yet... I am hoping that they will. then i can ditch a lot of crap :D

only HBO and CBS so far have it. something like $15/mo for either one.

much cheaper than a whole tv package with 3204872042 channels of utter bollocks that you just never watch.

if NBC were to match it, i'd do it.

Edit - but i doubt it right now, since comcast owns NBC, and well, they want you to spend money galore for stupid tv packages...

Good to know about CBS. I don't watch a whole lot on there though I would love to keep up on the news without having to read ;) lol I don't relish paying $15 just for it though as I could get basic cable from Click Network here in Tacoma for $16.
I'd be most tempted by Fox as they usually have my Seahawks games :) And an MLB channel that did NOT black out local games. smh.

Is it January yet?

The inlaws are quickly becoming outlaws.

I need to start going away for Christmas, this is getting ridiculous.

Bummer. Sorry to hear that. My new son-in-law's parents are two of the many stay-over guests we're going to have. May be interesting.

Well I hope they are decent folks.

My BIL Randy is a great guy, his family is kinda overbearing, but they've backed off over the last few years.
My BIL Steve is alright, he hasn't been around that long so we don't really know him through and through yet. He doesn't have any family in the area, so there's no problem with them.
My SIL Penny is all kinds of insane. So is her family. The women in the family are super hard headed, demanding, and confrontational. The men in the family are all pushovers. They've been married for 2 1/2 years now and the honeymoon is definitely over. My 10 year old nephew (Randy's boy) doesn't want to go to their place anymore because they fight constantly. He even asked his mom if they were getting a divorce. I couldn't care less if they split, but it hurts to know that it affects my niece and nephew so much. Thankfully, they do not have their own kids yet.

I received my very first 50mm lens. Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8. Fairly impressed for only $40. Obligatory duck shot. Focus was on the flame peak on the chest at f/1.8

Looks like a fantastic build, did you do it yourself? Does your MoBo have fast start technology on it? I'm not sure if that's on everything now or not? My computer boots or reboots in about 15 seconds with the combination of the MoBo tech and a SSD. It's blazing fast and it's only an i5. I imagine your i7 is even better. I need to upgrade some of the components still but I'm pretty happy with the build.

With fast boot enabled, it takes just a couple of seconds. Totally insane. I have the full POST running right now, just to verify things are all loading right.

This Is a semi- custom build. I'm ready for a full blown build now.

First batch of stuffing is in the slow cooker. About to make the second batch so the smaller turkey can be stuffed and start cooking. Then I have to set up the deep fryer and get that process going.
I'm going to be sick of turkey before it's even time to eat them!
