There are places that put the blue Locktite on oil plugs. What you definitely don't want to put on a drain plug is the tan/grey Locktite.

If you look at the head of the bolt on the inside it looks like blue Locktite. Either that or a blue colored gasket sealer. Of course Locktite goes on the treads when it is used, not on the inside of the head of the bolt.

Edit: Looking at the photo closer, it does look like that is just one of those composite "washers" instead of gasket sealer or Locktite. 8-)

I would never put Loctite on an oil drain plug. They should never come loose if they are installed properly.

That style of plug has a blue washer for sealing.

Bit dated, it's from the '80s. You may need a slang dictionary.

I won't say this new computer is fast, but it just imported 115,000 images into Lightroom before the old computer could import 3,000. I think I need to put an SSD in the old system....

I have now given up on SSDs for anything other than temp space. I have had three and have had three failures all within 4 years, and when they go, they really go. At least with a disk, when the drive fails most of the time you can still get data from the drive but when a SSD fails, everything is gone.

I won't be on much, if at all, until after the big day. So I just wanted to wish all of my friends here a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and exciting new year.

Happy holidays everybody. Let the merrymaking commence.

Though I'm stuck at work for a bit longer. Place is a ghost town.

Same to you and your family JJ.

Same situation at work as yourself. I count maybe 6 people out of 50 here lol

I vaguely remember what it was like to work on Christmas Eve...somewhere in the distant past. :p :-D

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I've got the munchkins today, have had Lizzy for the last two days. Mom and Dad both work today and since school is out they need supervision and entertainment. We're going to go skating this afternoon. Tim Hortons puts on free skating events at some of the local arenas during the holidays.

Unfortunately, I am developing a cold. Slept with my mouth open last night and now I've got a sore throat. Fun times.
