Well that's mean and on xmas eve. Santa gonna git ya.

 sorry

I'm already on Santa's naughty list. I may not have to go to work, but I do have to see the Neurologist this morning. :-(

BTW, I with I could get an eyeball camera. I had a bald eagle swoop right in front of my car this morning not more than a few feet away.

I wonder how well a Google Glass would work for that sort of shot.

I have now given up on SSDs for anything other than temp space. I have had three and have had three failures all within 4 years, and when they go, they really go. At least with a disk, when the drive fails most of the time you can still get data from the drive but when a SSD fails, everything is gone.

My SSD has nothing on it but my installed programs. All of my important data is stored on a bigger and slower internal drive. I figure saving and opening things can be slower but when I want a program to boot up, I want it now!! lol

Unfortunately, I am developing a cold. Slept with my mouth open last night and now I've got a sore throat. Fun times.

Time to fire up the humidifier. I've got to do the same. It's so dry here normally and when the temp drops, it's worse. Our indoor humidity has got to be below 20

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Yea, I moved mine to swap space and temp space. I don't care if it takes a few seconds to fire up but PS works a lot faster when it's temp space is on the SSD.

The humidity is pretty high - Santa is going to really need Rudolph around here tonight, we have really thick fog. We've been sitting around the freezing mark with either fog or rain for quite awhile now. This kind of weather usually makes me sick. Last year, with the really cold temps and low humidity was a lot better.

Outside and inside humidity can be quite different especially when it gets cold. 0c saturation and 20c saturation levels are very different. On cold nights we can have a 50% rel. humidity but inside it can be dry as the Sahara.

Programs only on the SSD...all data is on conventional hard drives.

The weather guessers were predicting doom and gloom with "SantaBomb" on the way. But instead of getting blasted with a winter storm we're experiencing a wonderful monsoon. 47F through the day, thick fog that never let up, and this evening brought about a nice lightning storm with epic rain.

Took the munchkins skating again and that drained the energy tanks. As soon as I am done wrapping I am headed to bed.
