Get out the inner tube and go floating!! That's a lot of rain.

Yep, good idea. Another 40mm since then, more expected over night and clearing mid morning tomorrow. < goes off to google ark plans>

Greg, you need to send that rain up this way. If nothing changes in the next 7 days, we will have the driest January ever in recorded weather history. After 3 previous drought years, this is not a good thing. It's going to be sunny and 23C this weekend. So much for winter!

We are drowning today, but at least it isn't the freezing rain they predicted.

I think your getting the remnants of the storm that we had yesterday. It gave us 1.5 inches of lovely rain. The trees are starting to bud so the timing was perfect. Green is coming back soon. :)

Pendleton is in a hole and we've been under fog for 3 days now. Drive anywhere out of town, get out of the hole and it's clear skies.

Blue skies, bright sun, brilliant snow, just below freezing here. I'm thinking I may take the kids tobogganing tomorrow if the weather is still nice. Or skiing. There's a hockey tournament in town so the arenas don't have any skating time available.

We have been having unseasonably warm weather recently, its been like 45 all week. Today it dropped and we are having a very pleasant little snow storm. It's actually kind of nice that winter has finally arrived.

We have had a little over an inch and a third here since yesterday afternoon. Problem is, the ground was already saturated before the rain even began.

If you can figure out how, I would gladly send you some.

We move oil around like there is no tomorrow, why can't we do the same with water? Places that have too much can send it to places with not enough.

Screw that oil pipeline; we need water pipelines.

I didn't do any quotes which is weird.

Congrats to Chet and his wife.

LVMoose, I really enjoyed those hummer shots (and I love the 70-200F4IS. I've never been able to get that close to them with it though).

Pekka, I really like the changes to the forum.

Dan, when did you get a M3?

There, I think that's everything...
