I love seeing sno pictures as long as it's up there and not down here. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I'll go out for a walk as soon as I get some of yesterday's pizza eaten.

Sounds like an awesome day already :)

It's sprinkling here; I'm sitting under my covered patio. I love mornings like this. Maybe we'll go up to the mountains tomorrow and play in the snow.

As I was driving home from volleyball last night, stomach rumbling, I was thinking about what to throw together for some sort of supper. Then the warm glow of the neon sign from a pizza joint/bar caught my eye. Turned around and went and ordered a large pizza to take home. I always get a large, even if it's just for myself, because it's better value and I have no problem eating pizza for supper, breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, supper, etc. And when I woke up this morning, the thought of having a pizza in the fridge made me smile. :)

I like pizza.

I love pizza. Thursday night has been pizza night in my house for decades. Which is not to say you can't also have it any other day of the week.

I could live on pizza alone if I had too though I am not too adventurous when it comes to pizza. I'm not a fan of all the new whacky recipes. Just a plain pizza, lots of veggies, lots of meat, lots of cheese.

Well that was a wintery walk! Currently -10C, windchill -21C. Slogging through knee-deep snowdrifts will get you sweating.

The front deck. Snow piles up here quickly, deck is on the south side of the house, so the snow/wind comes over the top of the house and drops the snow on the deck.

I heard a faint train horn. Looked around and couldn't see anything. Checked the signal lights and sure enough there was a green light. Looked back to the east and finally saw the lights. Was only about 30 seconds from the time I saw the lights till the train was upon me.

There's a nice tractor path alongside those trees.

Nice pics but I'm sorry, that look miserable. Cold, gray. lifeless.

Cold and grey for sure, but definitely not lifeless. That wind is menacing. It bites!
It'll look a lot better when the sun comes out.

Reminds me of a few too many cold Michigan winters. Brrr!

We're at 65f right now, with a predicted high of 71. No rain. It's official - this is the driest January in recorded weather history for us.

Little bit of life and colour out there! Eyes took a beating though.
