I'm not a fan of thin, crispy crusts. I like the good old normal crust. Deep dish is great as long as it's hot and fresh. The pizza we had in Chicago was awesome, but the I was really impressed with the bruschetta. However they made it, it was miles above any other I've ever had.

Whose pizza did you have? lou malnati's, Giordano's, Gino's, or Uno's those are the big four for deep dish pizza. Malnati's is known for putting on only one sausage on a sausage pizza but it's the size of the pizza. :) Giordano's has a stuffed deep dish.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

The ideal pizza crust should look something very much like this....

Yep. I just got home from a movie (Selma) and the pizza place. Pizza with fresh crab and baked just like that one in the link. Yum Yum!

Lou Malnati's. It was 3 1/2 blocks from our hotel. If I had my way I would have eaten pizza every day.

That is a slice of Chicagos finest.

There are other toppings buried in there.

Malnoti's is really really good, but the others are a tad better. I've always been partial to Giordano's. Better crust but I like Malnoti's sauce better. I wish I could squish the two together. :)
