teleporters would be nice! Beam me somewhere warm!!

Right now the snow piles are about 7ft tall, and running out of space to put snow!! I dug a trench out back about 4ft deep, so alexander can be "hidden".

next issue is a storm on thurs, and sunday... and icicles. they are growing and getting thicker.

had to take the screens off the top floor window and whack off the larger icicles with the crowbar...

Check out the lyrics...

They might make good murder weapons. Just melt away, and no fingerprints.

I am with you there. Much easier to handle some snow, than it is to suffer from heat exhaustion all the time.

I am more comfortable in low to mid 70's, but just so long as I am not exerting myself upper 70's are fine. Maybe a cocktail or two to cool down by the water would help too. :)

I'm actually more of a cool-weather, rain, green-mountains kinda guy. Why I'm still in Vegas after 20 years is a mystery to me.

You won't be denied a good old fashion prison beat down if one comes up. I can't blame you.

That would be nice. I'd like to go check out Idaho. I wouldn't mind parts of Oregon or Washington.

But my Dad's here, and I can't see moving while he's alive. He's got some pretty good indicators of dementia going on.

If I was to live in the US, those three states would likely be my first choice too.

I hear you regarding the father thing. Dealing with aging parents is a big part of our life, though my wife and me have both lost one. My mom is in decent health, and her mind is still good. My wife's dad is out in Ottawa, and is not doing real good, physically and mentally. Lisa spends a fair bit of time flying out there to see him, and deal with stuff like housing and care.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

We have a cold front headed our way. Supposed to be going down to -20 to -25C at night. Definitely not as cold as last winter was, but it'll be chilly for several days.

Being a person who does not handle heat and humidity very well, I love having winter.
