Lovely snowfall!

We have whiteout conditions here today. The sun is shining brilliantly, but strong NW winds are making a mess. Highway 402 has just been shutdown in both directions in this county, and probably the next one over. My brother drove through there a couple of hours ago and just managed to negotiate his way through all the accidents. Dad went to the post office, which is 5 kms to the west of here, and said the weather is clear over there. But the wind is supposed to turn more northerly, which will impact the whole county then, and not just the eastern half.

Damn! That's too hot.

72 here currently, in the shade. Gettin' ready to take the furkid to the park to chase tennis balls.

I seriously don't get how some of you think those extreme hot temps are a good thing. Colder weather is way comfier, easier to dress for, and WAY less tiring when doing physical activities. Not talking minus a bazillion with howling winds, just nice cooler temps.

Sipping cocktails while hanging out at the beach, now that is a different thing. ;)

That is a much more reasonable high, nice shorts and sandals weather. We have lots of deer in the parks near us, Jasper much prefers chasing them to tennis balls. :)

Though, he does love chasing dogs chasing balls. He is weird.

It's -17C here right now. Stars are shining brightly and I have a great view of Orion right out the front door.

I thought I read recently that Boston has banned sledding for fear of liability lawsuit.
