We're in a bit of a cool down today. It's only 72 degrees right now.

If schools would print the year on those cards, abusing the system would be harder.

I was annoyed to see that my college started printing expiry dates on the student cards. My last card expired 2/25/2011, but I was 29 years old so I still look the same. Not only do students get discounts at so many places, but Photoshop is 80% off for students! While I was in school that last time I doubled the RAM in my laptop, upgraded to 64 bit, bought Windows 7 and CS5. At the time, FutureShop had CS5 priced at $1000. I paid $200 for it at the school's tech shop. The manager of the shop said that he often sees people sign up for a night class just to get the student card and all the discounts. That's something I would do. The local college offers evening classes for all kinds of stuff.

Yep I just graduated in May so I don't feel too bad about it. My current year subscription to Adobe CC was a little over half off which was nice since I didn't have work paying for it then. I also got win 7 profesional for a very nice discount back when I built my current system. Our computer store didn't sell components so I didn't get a break there, should have bought another external HD or two though they had amazing deals on those.

I want snow!!!

All we keep getting is warm days, above freezing, and all our snow has melted away. March is historically the heaviest snow month, but I want more now.

Harm, Sorry but you can have that snow trench! We went out hiking again this morning up the northern side of the mountain. 64F and sunny with a little bit of haze.

The 4-6 inches of rain we had last week helped keep things green. By July the grass will be mostly yellow.

Crazy weather - I can't believe it's the middle of February.

Dad and I started shoveling the snow off the deck. We're not concerned about the deck in anyway, but it sure makes a nice big pile of snow to build a slide on! My goal is to have a pile big enough to reach the top of the railing on the top level (about 7' from the ground).

You're aware that's a treatable condition, right?

It is only treatable by moving somewhere with more snow, otherwise I suffer. ;)

Better beat the boys, it won't last long!

Lasagna is one of my all time fave foods. Has to be made right though, none of that no-meat-all-veggie nonsense.
