Gotta have the TP. Life gets rather messy without it.

Melody, you should consider installing a bidet in your bathroom!

Buy lots and lots of TP then!

I kind of envy you all the snow you are getting, but only for the photo ops, here in Southern Spain I just don't get to see snow any more - would need a 3+ hour drive to the mountains to get that chance.

That takes up even more space!

I was wondering why the track grinder was here for so long last night, could hear it for hours. Turns out it's still here! They spent the night on the siding with the engines idling.

Hot dogs in the microwave?

No, believe it or not. He cooked up a whole chicken, tators, and veggies. :D

Harm, I hope you have a slow thaw like we did last year. We were worried about rain on top of the snow melt that would cause major ice jams in the rivers plus flooding.

After sub-zero temps and -20-30's(f) wind chills for the last several days, the 20 degrees when I went to buy groceries today felt warm enough not to have to zip my jacket.

Hiking weather in the desert today. Maybe a little warmer than I would have liked at 75F.

It looks like the track grinder might be camping out for another night. They parked here late last night and didn't roll out till well after dark this evening. Now their back where they were last night. This spot on the line is often used to park equipment, but they've kept the engines running the whole time. Might be another restless night.

We have a dense fog tonight as well, so tomorrow should have a good amount of hoar frost.

Too dry for me. I have an intense dislike for sand.

Too dry for me, too. I'd much prefer the NW... Idaho, Washington, Oregon. Or Colorado. But I'm gonna make the best of it while I'm here.
