Hi, All! Long time not here.

It's 27 now, and getting colder as the day goes on. School was delayed today for "Possibility of Cold Weather" while there was no actual snow, or cold weather at 6 a.m. Refreezing of thawed snow was the problem. But no ice actually formed yet.

This has been a very strange winter in VA. Jan was warmer than average, and Feb is turning out to be much colder and snowier.

Hope to be around more!

We're in the mid to high 60's during the day. I spent most of yesterday mowing and sneezing from the plum blossom pollen.

Timphoto, it's the same here. Claritin is good for pollen allergies. Generics exist for it.

The pollen only bothers me for a short time and it's only the combination of the plum tree blossoms and cut grass. Nothing else seems to bother me. Unfortunately, the plum blossom bloom usually coincides with the need for the first spring mowing.

Whatever bothers me is available all year. It may be several things that take turns coming into season.

Hi Suzie.. Welcome back, long time no read.. *waves hi*

I'm lucky with allergies. In the spring I have a few days when the pollen gets heavy that I have a sort of metallic smell in my nose, but that's about it. Must be from all the running around barefoot I did as a kid. :)

And up here in the cold, cold north, the forecast is for 10°C (50°F) today. The sun is shining brightly. Crazy stuff, I tell ya.

Down here in balmy southwestern Ontario we hit -24C last night. We're currently at -18C with the windchill at -25C. Sun is shining brightly, not a cloud in sight.

Were sort of on the border. Still have lots of deciduous trees that loose their leaves but also have others that stay green year round.

My evergreen trees are still green and when my friend plowed the front yard the green grass showed through. The sky is blue too.

Hi, right back!

I take Zyrtec year round. I'm allergic to dust and all pets. We have horses in our development and that is good for the area, bad for my system.

I am hoping the cherry blossoms bloom as usual, the last week in March, but it doesn't look good. There is a lot of snow on the ground and cold air. I have a wedding to shoot in 2 weeks. Jacket and gloves and a cooler to keep the cameras from freezing. I am dreaming of spring.

I just checked, and right now it is 14°C (57°F) in my back yard. Might have to move further north if I want to get winter, it seems.
