Kittens on the prowl.

Just delaying the inevitable. My moms cat just went thru that just about the same age. He now sits on the mantel in a lovely container.

We realize that, but other than not eating, she's in great health. So far she's liking the specialty food that the vet gave us. It's some kind of nutrient packed, super good smelling, easy to eat paste stuff. She's eaten more of it today that anything she's had for days. We'll see how it goes, we don't want an animal suffering, but we also don't want to just toss in the towel if all she needs is a different type of food.

Roan...I have some shots of the hummers...but nothing real spectacular...other than the sheer number visible in one shot.

I remember that day. I probably have the same number of photos with small spots that are hummingbirds looking like a cloud of gnats!

Correct, on a 5DIII with a 1.4X TC. On a tripod.

I've found that using the same combination on my 40D with less cropping gets me very similar results, but with more noise at the same ISO of course.

My old 40D was terrible with noise above ISO 800

Yeah, when it was my main body, I tried never to hit 800.
