The snow is coming down around 1 1/2 inches per hour now, very dangerous. And visibility is down to 1/4 mile.

Yeah, we are not sure about vacationing in Europe at all. We haven't been to Boston in a long time, so the New England trip may be best.

It's crazy seeing all that you guys have gotten in DFW and even what we have at home in OK. I am in MN for the month and although we had 6 inches of snow here a couple days ago, roads are clear. There were some problems with the blowing snow, however. It is super cold here, though. -16 when I got up this morning! 30s and 40s this weekend. Yea!

Roads are clear here as well. We get winter and this year it's been pretty often, but it hangs around for just a few hours, maybe a day, and as soon as the sun comes out, it goes away. The Ice/Sleet/snow started yesterday by about 5:00pm when the cold front came through and did it's thing until about 5am this morning. By noon much of the snow was gone and by 3pm, everything was back to normal. One more cold night tonight than the climb back into the 60s/70s.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I remember folks from Austin and San Antonio coming to DFW any time it snowed when I lived in Flower Mound

It was 10 degrees when I got up this morning with wind chills under 0. So, it's pretty bad today, high of 30. Snow not melting very fast. But tomorrow, in the 40's. I have a wedding to shoot at 11 a.m. and I'm going to have to do it quick. I hate shooting in the cold. I just hope my son will forgive me for making him carry my equipment.

My husband and son were picking up the older son at IAD last night and the plane could not get to the gate for 1 1/2 hours. So they froze in the car at the cell phone lot. Poor guys. They were not warmly dressed.

My BIL was supposed to have a flight from IAD down to RSW (Ft Myers), but because of the weather, that was cancelled....

but 1.5 hrs to get to a gate is taking the piss!

Here in the frozen north we never even dropped below freezing last night (low of 4°C (39°F)), and are looking at a sunny warm day today, and tomorrow, and the next day......

Just about to give up on ever getting any more winter this year. :(

Nah, I've been there in summer, it gets hot enough.

The week I spent in Three Hills was the first time I ever got a sunburn on my feet. Now they burn easily.

Give me longer days, and I will take it. :)

Here is our forecast for the next week. Pretty darn mid for this latter part of winter.
