I just looked at the drought map. We have moved from exceptional drought to only extreme drought. It's only by a few miles but it's sort of like moving from super obese to morbidly obese.

Here in Vegas were in a "moderate drought," which is better than some parts of the state. Some February rain helped.

We're sitting right on the bubble. With the sun, it's definitely reduced clothing weather. If we were to get rain, we'd have flooding again.

What a great wedding on Saturday! Started at 17 degrees, ended at 75 degrees in a warm hall. I left the gear in the car until the shoot began and then ended inside at the reception. It was a long day.

Oh, how I love the blue sky. We still have snow and ice on the ground and it's been warm for days. I don't think my garage will ever be warm again. There was ice still in the snowblower when we went in there yesterday. Starting tomorrow, I refuse to wear a coat out. ;)

we have aclimatised to the frigid cold so much, that it is normal weather to us now. who needs snowboots and shoes?
