Yes. Marshmallow cream is even harder to clean up. Then there's honey.

Wax isn't as easy as one might think.

You are supposed to drip it on the chest. At least that is what they do in the movies.

Well, as of 9 pm I have collected 38 quarts of sap today, and the trees are still dripping.

WD40 will as well. WD40 also works for crayon on walls.

WD40 also works great on fishing lures, earwigs hate it, and it gets gum out of hair.

We're having that terrible rain storm here instead of the snow NY is expecting today. It's a cold rain, 34 degrees, and coming down hard.

The lollipops look good. :)

Cold rain is the worst. I'd rather have cold snow.

Same here, but I still hate cold rain. It is the most miserable of miserableness.

Cold, foggy, drizzly nights are nasty. Or cold, rain, and driving wind. They just freeze you right through. Anything cold and damp is icky.

Today is beautiful. Bright blue skies, warm sunshine, and we're up to 7C. Nice enough to wander around outside barefoot. Sap is running full tilt, propane burner is going full blast, the kids and I have set up a pan over a wood fire, and I'll be finishing some stuff inside.

One of my favorite things is rain at the beach. A cool, cloudy day with rain. Don't know why, and I've experienced it far too few times. I also like swimming in the pool during rain, or being in a hot tub in rain or snow.

I love falling asleep listening to the rain.

Lunchtime with the rug rats. Lizzy wanted a peanut butter sandwich (no surprise there) and hard boiled duck eggs. Ok. Austin wanted grilled cheese sandwiches. Ok. So I'm eating a grilled cheese sandwich and a hard boiled duck egg for lunch.
