Funny, I seem to recall a lot of Canadians visiting Arizona, So. California, and Florida in the winter. I wonder where the frozen tundra folks will go after they annex a few northern states and put up the wall?

Sometimes you need a good time off to reset yourself, esp after recent events.

I've been considering something similar, in transportation a bit more reliable.

We expect to see some nice pics taken during those 11 days - enjoy the break!

Picked up a baby tripod today. Sirui T-025x travel kit. Weigh =732g, length folded <12" supposed to hold 6kg.

Specifically for travel, it'll pack away inside the backpack. Seemed ok with the 1D4 +L plate, 24-105 combo on it (2329g). Time will tell.

I'll need to weigh it down with a bag on the hook when shooting, a strong breeze could topple it.
