That awkward moment when you put something in a safe place so you don't lose it, then you forget where that safe place is.... :)

That was in a poster posted on Facebook today by Wooly Dan's wife.

The story of my life...

Spring has sprung, with a vengeance! 23C right now, supposed to hit 28 this afternoon. Yesterday was just as toasty. Spent the day working in the city doing spring clean-up and cutting grass. With no breeze and bright sun, it was a sweaty day. Today I'm doing more clean-up, but I'm on the lakefront this time. :) Sure can't complain about the view when you're sitting in a Stanley Cup winners back yard looking out at the bright blue lake.
Only downsides are that the water is way too cold to swim in, and I accidentally touched Stinging Nettle, so my fingers are rather tingly.

Oh yes, I have as of now misplaced and entire camera system (just to stay photo related I guess) My whole Nikon 1V kit is m.i.a., and I know it was me that got it there!

We need to coin this phrase, put a name to it.

I have another of similar annoyance;

"Destinesia"
The act of walking into a room (or location) to retrieve something, getting there, and forgetting why you walked there.

root words: Destination + Amnesia = Destinesia

Forget what I said about it getting up to 28C today, we're already at 31C. This white brick house, light grey landscaping stones, and white cement driveway are acting like one giant tanning bed.

Being a red head, I don't get a golden glow. I turn lobster red, which then fades to brown. I've got quite the farmer's burn going already. Right now I'm testing Under Armor's claim that this Heat Gear shirt has 50+ UV protection. It does help keep a person cool, even though I look like a sweaty marshmallow in it.

I suffer from that in a big way.

BTW, I saw a show aboyut how the mind works and they were saying that if you look left, look right very quickly really fast, you can speed the remembering process. It has something to do with how the brain is wired. Looking back and forth quickly wake up the pathways between the left and right sides of the brain. Sounds hokey but it seems to work for me.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

We have lots of wifi. I'm almost out of data for the month, so uploading pictures need to be done on wifi.

The view from the backyard of a million dollar, lake front, summer home owned by a retired NHL'r.

The sweaty marshmallow. I bought the UA Heatgear compression shirt to wear under team t-shirts. The only one on the sale rack that was my size was the white one. It's pretty see-through and very close fitting. The cooling effect is great, and it does prevent sunburns. I'm going to keep my eye open for sales, I'd like to get a loose fitting one.

To all you muthas out there, Happy Moms' Day.

Now that this event is out of the way, I still have to sweat my wife's birthday later this month, and my anniversary next month. Ohhh the pressure :-(
