Anyone else use the Flickr App on their iPad? I just downloaded it last night, and it appears that there's no way to grab (or even see) the bbc code for photographs like you can on a computer.

I did, but prefer to view through Safari on the iPad, the app didn't impress, then again, maybe I gave up to easily.

That's what I had been using, too. But for some reason, with the last recent change in Flickr, I couldn't grab the bbc code so I tried that app. That's even worse.

I use it on my iPhone and so far I have not been able to find a way to grab the BBC code. Used to be able too, and then they "updated" everything and it all went to pot. I only use the app for uploading pictures from my phone.

Just got home, how's everyone been? First time in my adult life I went camping and I went for a week. Just left everything for the week, it was nice. New people, new experiences... was just really fun.

Traci, I spent several years doing camping trips, including weekend whitewater rafting and kayacking trips, with friends, most of whom worked at my workplace (Hewlett-Packard), and indeed it was a blast

I love camping! It can be so wonderfully relaxing. I haven't been camping in a couple of years, hopefully this summer will allow me to get a trip in, even if it's just for a weekend.
Tomorrow is resume day (today is a holiday). Need to get papering the town and find a full time job that pays decently. I love the work I'm doing with the property maintenance company, but it's not really the income I need.
I've done a couple of days work for another company, but I'm not impressed with them. They haven't had me sign any paperwork, or even asked for my social insurance number yet. On my first day they left me alone at the yard to mow and trim. I'm fully capable of doing the work by myself, but it seemed really weird to be unsupervised on my first day. Overall, everything just seems odd and unwelcoming, despite the fact that the owners are very friendly people.
Hopefully, now that I'm fully licensed, I'll be able to get back into a shop and get on with life.

I havent been camping in years. We use to go camping often, sometimes in public campgrounds, aka big parties, and sometimes off on our own with no one around for miles. I prefer the latter actually. It's so invigorating yet relaxing at the same time to be out in the woods ith the nearest other human being miles away. So quite.

BTW, we have a campground less than a mile from our house. It.s small and right on the lake. We have been contemplating heading out there with the tent but somehow it seems silly when we would be camping and can still see our house. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

That's not silly, I "camp" in the yard with the rug rats. It's just sleeping in a tent for the night. Mini vacation.

Don't camp much these days. When we lived in WA we'd go camping in the Cascade Mountains a couple times a month. Gorgeous up there.

My whole life I have been camping in one form or another. As a teen and young adult it was pretty much exclusively backcountry camping, hiking, canoeing, and skiing. I still do at least a couple canoe trips a year, but still go camping in our trailer many times a year, including this past long weekend. Most of our camping is boondocking, off the grid. I don't mind some campgrounds, I just prefer to be away from the crowds, somewhere my guitar playing around the campfire does not bother anyone. :)

Camping for me is second nature, and the more rustic it is, the better. It is my way of unwinding. Especially going on a backcountry trip where there is no phone reception, you just forget about all the potential stresses in your life, as there is absolutely nothing you can do about them anyway.

If I could swing it, I would be camping 27/7/365.

You will never see this view from your vehicle.
