I prefer to remember all those who served. I know that's veterans day, but those who served deserve two days. So in that spirit, Jim, I remember you and you are greatly missed. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

LVMoose Moose gets blamed for everything. More info | A good percentage of my Facebook friends are veterans, some are LEO's... another patriotic bunch... and some are both. Some are current active duty military. I always enjoy the things they post on FB to try'n get folks to remember what this day is for, and to nudge people's thoughts in that direction. I seldom make it through the day without getting a lump in my throat several times. Moose

I wish more businesses did stuff like that. What is the significance of this? It sounds familiar, but as a Canadian, I am not up to speed. -JIM-

I see, a way of commemorating the soldier who fell in the line of duty, unable to take a seat. A fitting honour to their memory. -JIM-

Jill-of-all-Trades far from having everything figured out! More info | May 25, 2015 13:04 | #10554 Dad's turning 70 on June 2nd. This Saturday we're holding a surprise birthday party for him. Right now my brother and I are going through tons and tons of old slides. For now, I'm taking pictures of the slides on the screen. Soon enough we want to get a good slide/negative scanner and digitize everything. Melody
