I wouldn't want a jet. Too impractical. I would much prefer the Beech Kingair and pilot it myself. :):)

Ok, when I say jet I mean I want an airplane that can get me to the other side of the pond. Taking a few fuel pit stops along the way is totally acceptable. Needing an excuse to go to Iceland is always ok.

That's really cool how that job came about, Mel. Many of my side jobs come about thru connections with people at my church. And the jobs always go well, people are always fair and reasonable.....church people are good folks!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I'd buy a helicopter to get me to the airfield where I'd get my private jet!

With my muli-millions I would buy this or a similar mine-clearing vehicle - go to countries littered with land-mines and clear them. Then build parks and athletic fields for children.

http://www.wi-ltd.com …25_Mine_Clearance_Vehicle (external link)

I would employ a large team to do it throughout the world - but only for countries that could show they care about the re-building of their countries.

Imagine spending your day clearing mines and turning the area into playgrounds and safe acres for children and families... I could do it full-time.

Anywho - aside from giving my church monthly monies (the only charity that I know where the money 'really' goes)... I would likely found a charity in Canada also, but I have not thought that far ahead as to its mission and scope.

Oh and I would get the 7D II and the 200-400L IS...

Yeah.

7Dmk II gripped | 5Dc | 100-400L IS II | 55-250 IS STM | 100L f/2.8 IS Macro | 15-85 IS | 50 f/1.8 STM |

I would love to find a small village somewhere that needs help and has people willing to work to improve their situation. Drill a well, build a school, build a medical facility, and bring in a teacher and a doctor. And then, because I'm a farm kid, teach sustainable farming techniques and provide any equipment needed. With increased farm production people will be able to eat better and sell what they don't need. Kids that have water and food can go to school and learn, equipping them for a better future. Having a medical facility will help keep the locals in better health, but can also bring folks in from other areas and they could get medical help and maybe buy food if they need it.
Simply equip the people and give them the ability to make better lives for themselves.

Aside from giving my church monthly monies (I also do that, believe it or don't), I would like to find a way to help critters... wild and domestic... that have been abused by mankind. I have a soft spot for pretty much all aminals.

I just threw away about 50 lbs of photog mags. I used to have subscriptions to a few, and was keeping them around for "reference." But I never went back to them after the first read so they were just taking up shelf space. Anything I need to know I can find on-line, and I've learned far more on this forum than I ever learned from these silly magazines.

Dose anyone here still buy them?

Danke. The colours are more spectacular now, but that location is about 3.5 hrs drive away. I'll have to see if I can get anything a little closer to home now!

I purchased a few off the stand a few times but quickly learned that everything I needed to learn was available online.

For magazines, there use to be these deals where you would get a full year for $5us. I signed up for a couple for 3 years. They were fun to get and great reading on the throne. All have now expired though so I'm not getting any.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I subscribe to Aperture, but its more of an art rag. Its not a traditional photo magazine and it gets pretty far out at times.
