Any recommendations on calibrators? Or ones to avoid?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

7.5 hours? Must be sticking to the speed limit Moose!

Took about seven this time, and that was with stopping at a rest area to walk the dog and eat lunch. I normally drive 9 over... sometimes faster depending on the flow of traffic. 7.5 was what my nav system, and my wife, said it would take.

Turkey day at my daughter's house :)

Spyder: My wife's been asking for Christmas gift suggestions.... maybe that's a good one. Of course I'll end up ordering it. I rarely get surprises anymore.

Can the old ticker handle surprises anymore? :P

I know what you mean. I had to go pick up my Christmas present today. A mint condition Carl Zeiss Jena 35mm f/2.4 Flektogon lens.

I don't mind picking out and ordering my own Christmas and burfday presents; it's how I've gotten all my gear.

Kinda depends on the surprise, I guess.

Well, considering the fact that I only get one Christmas present, and it will be approximately $50, if I want anything good I have to buy it myself. We draw names for presents, so only one person will be buying anything for me.

So far, the last week or so has been Christmas to me! I bought new running shoes, new hockey skates, a laptop, now a Spyder 5. And on Tuesday, if all the paperwork goes through on time, a new (to me) truck. :D

Time to get a color calibrator and load your printers color profile. I print at Costco and have my local stores color profile loaded so I am able to proof before submitting. Colors come out spot on.

That's what I want. I just ordered the Spyder 5 Pro off Amazon. I played with the colour settings on this thing again, trying to get the grey bars to look grey, but it just doesn't look right.

Nice!

I've been on quite the shopping spree! Feels good to get some new stuff, especially the running shoes!! I've had the money for the laptop sitting around for some time now, just waiting to figure out exactly what I wanted, and then to get it on sale. The truck is a necessity. I'd either have to drop $1500 - $2000 worth of parts/work into my current truck to get it through winter. I paid $3500 for it 4 years ago, it's not worth the new parts.
