Aside from the normal things that happen to kids, like tripping over their own feet, falling on their face, and putting a tooth through their lip.

Or having another child assault (hair pulling, trapping her in enclosed areas, biting) your child while in their care and have them tell you do to HIPA rules they can't discuss the other child with you but that they are dealing with it. As the other family was "low income" they really couldn't do anything, or even terminate the child from the program. As it is in a politically correct world, We, moved on. Crazy stuff.

It's so quiet around here. Is everyone frozen?

I got a call from a local GM dealership, the service manager asked me to come in to discuss something that I might be interested in. Starting next week I'll be covering for a mechanic that's going on parental leave for three months. The apprentice is also leaving for two months for trade school, so they'll be down two people. There is no guarantee for anything after the three months, but hopefully something will come up. Three months is better than nothing, especially at this time of year.

Not frozen here. It's been a gorgeous weekend. low 70s and sunny. Was outside all weekend fixing the sprinkler system. Had a few leaks I needed to take care of.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Spring has sprung here. Again.

We hit 45F today. The snow has all disappeared once again and the world has turned to mud. I washed my truck while I was in town, the doors and windows won't freeze today!
