No idea why....but my first thought when I glanced at this post, was why in the hell is anyone undercoating a house?

To keep the road salt from rusting out the undercarriage of course! Not so much of a problem down in the southern US, but up where it snows, it's necessary. Don't need holes in the floor of your new single wide...

In college I lived in a single wide for a year. No pop outs either. When Macomb got hit by a string of twisters, I figured it was time to git out. It's very un-nerving when your house is rocking side to side and thumping like a giant garbage can.

Thought I'd post a couple of pics I took a few weeks ago. I felt like shooting some film since it had been a long time since doing so. This was shot during sunset in Huntington Beach on a Canon Elan 7e (that I bought on POTN many many moons ago), with my 24-70 f/2.8L lens and some Kodak Ektar film (which I'd never shot before). I was rather surprised on how these came out. The negatives were scanned on my old Minolta Scan Dual IV using Vuescan on an old laptop. The images were cropped and straightened in LR, and I did try to remove some of the larger dust particles, but I wasn't going at it whole-heartedly.

I think I found a film I'm pretty happy with.

Thanks, though I think the film did more for the color than I did... lol!

Wasn't there something like that a while ago and it didn't stick?

Yes....there were similar allegations in the past....unfair hiring, wages and promotions. They were cleared the last time....might not be as fortunate this time around.

Mirror less definitely has its issues. I wouldn't say that EVF is one of them though. I'm really digging the EVF on my Fuji gear, but the only think holding it back is lowlight AF. It blows. Hard. It isn't bad enough to just leave them at home after sundown, but there's no way I could even consider covering a wedding with them.

And Kenji, what mirror less are you using? I'm having a similar complaint about the Fuji lenses. The MF ring take so long to get used to, and there's no tactile feedback, so it's really hard to grab and spin, unlike my canon stuff.

Oh, speaking of mirrorless I took this with my iPhone 6s yesterday! We got dumped on with snow here in Knoxville.

Today mother nature is playing a game of twister. Got a few tornadoes moving on through. Been down to the shelter already twice and it doesn't look like its done with us yet.

I'm at work and we have an underground parking garage so I'm not particularly worried. :)

Bummer. Though I do love watching a good storm develop and play out. Take some pictures and stay safe.

Used to happen often here, usually an anonymous call from a pupil wanting to get out of a lesson!

Rumor has it the call originated from the school district administration offices that house the expelled students. It's interesting the school district is required to babysit the students removed from their schools. -?
