Wow, those wax figures are very well done. Very lifelike. (I'm assuming they are wax figures. :)

Yea I think they are, they are made by Weta workshop, the same company that did Lord of the Rings etc.

In a pinch, Dawn dish soap also works well if you are exposed to poison ivy. Use it right away to wash any area you think might have gotten touched, it dissolves the oil just like it dissolves grease on dishes.

Well, the volleyball season has officially ended. We went into the tournament doing great, won our first 6 games, and then it was all downhill from there. Ended up placing 9th out of 14.

It's only three weeks until baseball starts. :)

Last night I went wandering through the mall. I went into SportChek to see what baseball bats they had in this year. I was looking at some different ones and noticed that there were sale stickers on a few of them, but not on all of the same ones. The one that I wanted didn't have a sticker, but the same one in a lighter weight did have a sticker. I asked an employee what was up with that. He just took the sticker off and put it on the bat I wanted. So I took it and went to pay. Turns out the sticker was from last weeks sale, but they have to honour it still. So this bat, which was $229 originally was priced down to $129. And then this weeks sale took another 10% off of that. $119 for a nice bat is pretty good, and they also offer Scene points, at one per dollar, so I got a bunch of points. Plus I used my debit card which also rewards Scene points, at one per 5 dollars. I think I made out pretty good!!

Thank you. It was low 70's while we were there. Nice and warm for us having come from -9.

I see he is wearing stripes already. Your not taking him to work with you, are you?

Oh wait. they don't wear stripes anymore. Never mind.
