True, but wouldn't the opposite make for a difficult and dangerous delivery? Small mother, large pups.

Well we should have a pet [past & present] show and tell for the next few days ~

Our last pup Scouty. He died last year at 19 years, 5 month. He was diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous tumor when he turned 10 and the vet gave him 2~3 months. He lived another 9 1/2 years. Scouty was a real trouper for a little guy. Loved water and swiming, an avid hiking dog even though he had stumpy legs

I guess you'd call this one a "Chorgi," (Chow-Corgi.)

We had Pinchy for a couple 3 years before he went claws up. Not very cuddly though.

It's not the toilet, it's the (canine) maternity ward. Quite respectable.

Charlie the Wonder Cat. Before Charlie was Binkley the Wonder Cat, but I had very few images of him as I wasn't into photography at the time. Binks went to sleep one night and never woke up. He was 16? So he had a good life.
Not making the same mistake with Charlie. I get lots of images of Charlie as we grow old together. He was 10 when I adopted him from the Rescue Shelter 2 years ago. His previous owner had him since a kitten, but she was elderly and went into a care facility, and 2 weeks later, Charlie came home with me.

Nice pups and kitteh!

We had a some of our stuff brought back on Friday. For those forgetful, we had a water leak just about three months ago, and things aren't quite finished yet. It was a tough weekend. Most of the stuff belonged to my late mother in law. The PQ and her husband came down as well as my brother and his wife. We pretty much banished my wife from being around any open boxes as we started going through them sorting into three categories: Keep, Donate, and the dreaded Trash category.

So what do you do when you come across an old cardboard box about the size of a of a large shoe box (about same footprint (pun intended), but a few inches taller) filled with old family correspondence that dates back at least the early 1950's and probably earlier? So far, all I'm doing is transferring it to a different box.
